CPR Training Aides 2018-2020 (Funded by Hunterdon Healthcare)

During Junior year, all students have the opportunity to become trained in First Aid and CPR with defibrillation.  As mandated by the state of New Jersey, school districts must provide CPR and AED instruction as part of the health curriculum.  As part of this training, all students are being given a life skill that will help become better strengthened in cardiac care.  Over 400 students will be certified each year.

Hunterdon Healthcare generously donated the funds to purchase the new manikins which allow students to be better trained to ensure proper chest compression depth during the skill of CPR.  NHHS staff are also trained on these manikins and will be better equipped to help out in an emergency.
