Social Studies Classroom Redesign 2021-2022

The NHEF proudly funded the redesign of classroom 240 to create an interactive learning environment for the Social Studies Department.

“The 21st classroom environment has immediately impacted cooperative learning/ team approach to education because the students view their table as a unit for solving problems. The table arrangement facilitates the teacher to move around the classroom and have small group discussions, where students feel more confident to participate due to the students being comfortable with the peers at their table and are distanced from other tables. We also can move students from viewing a virtual field trip to analysis of the trips connection to academic concepts.”- Brian Maginnis
