Grant Description
Students had the opportunity to learn from former Rutgers University football standout Eric LeGrand. Eric sustained a C3-C4 injury while playing in a Rutgers game which then left him paralyzed. In the eight years since his accident, he has dedicated his life to helping others. Eric motivates students by talking about his life experience in dealing with adversity. During his day at North Hunterdon High School, NHHS students were able to hear Eric’s story of determination regardless of his physical limitations.
